Editorial Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026.
GadgetStick aims to publish useful, accurate and transparent consumer-tech content. This policy explains how we research, review, update and correct our work.
Research and sourcing
We prioritize primary sources such as manufacturer documentation, official product pages, regulatory filings and direct company announcements. Where third-party reporting is useful, we prefer established sources with a record of accurate technology coverage. Rumours, leaks and unconfirmed reports are labelled clearly and are not presented as established facts.
Reviews and first-hand experience
We only describe a product as tested, hands-on or personally used when that is true. When a review or buying guide is based on research, specifications, verified third-party measurements or a combination of sources rather than direct testing, the article should make that clear. We aim to explain the context behind performance claims instead of repeating marketing language.
Recommendations and comparisons
Recommendations are based on intended use, price, features, trade-offs and available evidence. There is no single best product for every reader, so our guides should explain who a product suits, who should skip it, and which alternatives deserve consideration.
Affiliate relationships
Some articles may contain affiliate links. A commission may be earned from eligible purchases without increasing the price paid by the reader. Affiliate relationships do not guarantee positive coverage or placement. Sponsored content, if published, should be clearly identified.
Corrections and updates
Consumer technology changes quickly. We may update articles when prices, software, availability, specifications or other material facts change. If we discover a meaningful factual error, we correct it as soon as reasonably possible. Readers can report an issue through our Contact page.
AI-assisted tools
Digital tools may be used to support research, organization, editing or workflow efficiency. They are not a substitute for source verification or editorial judgment. Material claims should be checked against reliable sources before publication, and we do not intentionally publish fabricated quotes, test results or first-hand experiences.
